Marian Hall

The Marian Hall was opened in 1956 and was well renowned as a venue for many diverse events including dances, céilis, plays, bingo, sports events and many other social events. The current facility comprises a main hall, stage, kitchen and 3 separate rooms.

. BCPs are located in some of the most rural communities throughout each local authority area, including islands off Donegal, Mayo and Galway. The Broadband Connection Point (BCP) initiative was established in order to ensure that remote areas, particularly those that are likely to wait longest for connections, are provided with some access to highspeed broadband while waiting for the NBP roll-out to reach them.

The enhancement of remote working hubs in rural areas can have a transformative impact on rural and underserved areas of the country. Hubs also can contribute to the economic proposition of towns and villages by supporting place-making through the provision of educational services and cultural and recreational amenities.
